Monday night was a huge result for Leeds United as they picked up three crucial points away at Old Trafford. The Whites have managed to end their poor run of form recently.
Daniel Farke’s side had taken just two points in their last four league games. The team also failed to score in those four games, raising alarms at this point of the season. And with West Ham and Nottingham Forest picking points over the past few weeks, Leeds have been looking over their shoulder.
The game at Old Trafford went in a really surprising direction. The Whites got off to a flying start, scoring in the first five minutes; Noah Okafor pounced on a bad clearance to put his side in the lead. Leeds United managed to create multiple chances in the first half of the game, and could have scored more but fluffed their lines. Okafor scored again midway through the first half to give his side a 2-0 lead at the break.
Leeds United player spotted at Old Trafford during historic win
Before the game on Monday, Michael Carrick asked his fans to make the atmosphere work in the home side’s favour during the rivalry game. But the hosts were stunned and the crowd went silent in the first half. Leeds fans made their presence known as their side were very dominant in the first 45 minutes in the game.

The Whites held on to their two-goal lead in the second half, and walked away with all three points. An interesting shot in the away end on Monday night was Harry Gray being spotted in the crowd. The young striker was seen wearing a baseball cap in the stands, supporting his boyhood club record their first win at Old Trafford in over 15 years.

What is the latest with Harry Gray?
Gray left Elland Road in January, joining Rotherham United on loan for the rest of the season. The young striker was believed to have pushed for the move in order to get some first team football. But the teenager picked up an injury, and had to return to Thorp Arch for treatment and rehab. Harry Gray returned to action for Rotherham a few weeks ago and has played in their last four games. The striker has two goals in 15 appearances in League One this season.
