Some first team players brought their spell at Elland Road to an end as they left Leeds United this summer. Leaving the club has given some players a new environment.
Fans had so much criticism for the team last year when they failed to offload unwanted tplayers.
The best Leeds were able to do was find loans for the likes of Jack Harrison, Max Wober and Largie Ramazani.
This summer was much different as the club found permanent solutions for Gelhardt, Harrison and Wober. They successfully offloaded some of the highest earners on the wage bill while creating space in the squad.

One of the players that Leeds United fans will be glad to see the back of is Max Wober.
He came to Elland Road as a big money signing, but after one season he barely played. The Austrian defender has been inactive for the last 12 months and the club made the decision to terminate his contract this summer.
Wober has since joined Schalke as a free agent and has played four games for his new club.
The centre back has been speaking about his injury problems over the last year and how it cost him a place at the World Cup.
“I had the feeling that it simply wasn’t meant to be anymore,” Wober told reporters while on Austria duty, as quoted by GGFN.
“I still played on for a few minutes because I couldn’t let myself be substituted again after 15 seconds.
“There were a lot of tears because the World Cup was the big motivator that carried me through the years. Naturally one asks oneself whether the body can still cope and whether I can play at this level again without getting injured.”

49ers made the right decision with Max Wober
Wober had been at Elland Road for over two years before the club decided to make a decision in the summer.
Leeds terminated his contract, allowing him to leave for free. Many were confused at the decision, but it was the right one by the 49ers; Max Wober had no transfer value following poor loan spells.
Letting him go for free cleared wages off the books even if the club did not get a transfer fee.
His absence will not be felt, considering how the club have overhauled the defence since the Austrian was good enough to be a first team player.
