The last meeting between Bournemouth and Leeds United ended in a draw. The two sides shared a point each over the two games last season.
There was almost nothing to separate them in both games they met.
This weekend, Daniel Farke will face his old friend Marco Rose. The two coaches faced off in the Bundesliga when Farke was there. On Saturday, they get the chance to renew their rivalry.
Leeds have had a very positive start to the season; one defeat in eight games so far and 11 points in the bag. After a demanding fixture list including teams like Arsenal, Man United and Sunderland, any team would take being seventh at this point of the season.
Bournemouth on the other hand, have just kickstarted their Premier League campaign. After going six games without a win, they have now won back to back games.

Marco Rose’s side beat Sunderland and Man United in back to back games. Their 3-0 win over the Red Devils at Old Trafford was a huge statement.
The interesting thing is that Bournemouth have beaten two of Leeds United’s last two opponents while the Whites only got two points. Farke’s men had to come from behind to draw with Michael Carrick’s side at Elland Road and could only muster a 0-0 draw at the Stadium of Light a week later.
When Rose was asked about the prospect of facing Leeds this weekend, he revealed that it was going to be a difficult match due to how Farke sets up his side.
“Difficult,” he admitted.
“They are quite compact, really committed in working out of possession against the ball, diligent, intense, good in duels and they have a good balance between simple solutions and a really good in possession game, so a good team, a tough challenge for us and we need to be ready for this challenge.”
