Leeds United manager Daniel Farke will have been frustrated by what his players produced in the 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace at Elland Road.
The Whites headed into the game full of confidence after their emphatic victory over Newcastle United, while Palace arrived in Yorkshire after losing three of their first four Premier League matches and conceding 11 goals.
Yet Leeds failed to carry that momentum into Sunday’s game. Their performance was flat from the outset, with little intensity or attacking spark, and they ultimately did little to suggest they deserved more than a point.
Palace did have a goal ruled out for offside, but they otherwise looked comfortable for much of the afternoon. Given their defensive struggles coming into the game, they will be more than satisfied to leave Elland Road with a clean sheet and a share of the spoils.

Paul Robinson slams player after what he did in Leeds vs Palace
The day could have gone worse for Leeds if Crystal Palace wing-back Anan Khalaili had concentrated harder and not strayed offside in the build-up to the disallowed goal.
Former Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson hammered the Palace star on Sky Sports, stressing that the wing-back should have done better and stayed onside.
He pointed out that Khalaili could clearly see the line the Leeds defence were holding and he had no excuse for straying offside in the build-up to the goal.

“He should keep himself onside,” Robinson said on commentary.
“He’s looking across the whole Leeds back five and can see every single one of them.
“He can have no excuse to run offside in that position. He’ll be devastated.”

Leeds were lucky with the offside
The Leeds defence were caught off guard by Tyrick Mitchell’s disallowed goal, and there was a mighty sigh of relief at Elland Road when VAR overruled it.
If Khalaili had been careful with his run, Leeds could have been left empty-handed by a Palace side who were struggling ahead of the game.
Leeds remain unbeaten and fifth in the Premier League table after five games and would be more than happy with the start to the season.
However, Daniel Farke would know that his team got away with it a little today.
