Leeds United had their first home game of the season against Brentford over a week ago. The Whites managed to get a draw against one of the most in-form teams in the league.
Keith Andrews’ side were on a roll, having scored nine goals in their first two games of the season.
But when they faced Leeds, they only managed to score one goal with Daniel Farke’s side having a great defensive showing.
They were also helped by the fact that Brentford were wasteful with a lot of their chances. Keith Andrews’ side dominated the game and were very unlucky to not get a result.
Both sides have continued their unbeaten run to the season since the game at Elland Road.
Premier League admit to key error in Leeds United game

An incident that drew a lot of attention that weekend was when Jayden Bogle seemed to have caught Kevin Schade on his boot in the penalty area. However, no decision was given by referee Tony Harrington.
There was also no VAR review for the incident in the penalty box.
The Premier League Key Match Incidents panel have said that Brentford should have been awarded a penalty for Bogle’s challenge on Schade. The KMI Panel voted 4:1 that Harrington should have given the penalty.
“There was foot on foot contact instigated by Bogle with enough contact for a penalty kick,”
However, the panel voted that the incident did not reach the threshold for Harrington to be called for a review at the pitch side monitor. They voted 3:2 in support of the VAR outcome.
“However, given the high threshold for VAR intervention, the panel felt the referee’s call should remain on field as it wasn’t a clear and obvious error.”

Leeds got away with one against Brentford
Bogle stood on Schade’s foot around the 66th minute of the game, when Brentford were leading 1-0. If the penalty had been awarded, there is every chance that the away side could have had a 2-0 lead with less than half an hour of the game left.
But the decision was not awarded and Leeds managed to claw themselves back into the game.
Daniel Farke’s men have had an impressive start to the season, and have played some really good football in some games.
Fans will be hoping the team can build on their momentum when they face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
