Leeds United secured deals to sign seven new players to improve a squad that finished 14th in the Premier League table last season, but several also left.
The Whites had to let a few players leave Elland Road not only to balance the squad, but also to keep their wage bill under control as finances are still tight at the club.
Illan Meslier, Karl Darlow and Sam Byram left on free transfer deals, while Leeds loaned out Joel Piroe, Sebastiaan Bornauw, and Lucas Perri in the last transfer window.
Leeds also needed to move on a few deadwood, and the club eventually finalised a deal to let Largie Ramazani join Burnley on the final day of the transfer window.

Largie Ramazani makes immediate impact at Burnley
The Belgian winger was left out of Leeds’ pre-season squad, and Daniel Farke made it clear that he had no way back after he returned from his loan spell at Valencia at the end of last season.
Ramazani waited for Valencia all summer, but the Spanish club never offered a deal worth considering, and he eventually joined Burnely on deadline day.
He made two substitute appearances for Burnley in the first two games before getting his first start in the trip to Wrexham on Tuesday night.
The winger made an immediate impact and provided the assist for Zeki Amadouni’s 26th-minute goal that gave Burnley the lead.
It eventually ended in a 1-1 draw between the two sides, but Ramazani provided a glimpse of what he can offer the Clarets this season.
Ramazani was part of Leeds’ promotion-winning squad, and Burnley hope that he will bring that experience to their squad in the Championship this year.

He never really got a chance under Daniel Farke
Leeds paid a significant fee of around £10m to sign Largie Ramazani in the summer of 2024. However, the winger struggled to get in the starting eleven in the Championship under Daniel Farke.
The German was happy to let him leave on loan last summer, as he was not going to be a major part of his plans in the Premier League.
Farke never really had enough faith in the winger, and it was no surprise that he had no plans to use him after he returned from Valencia in the summer.
For Ramazani, leaving Leeds was arguably the best option, and he is now looking to rebuild his reputation in the Championship after joining Burnley.
