Leeds United strengthened their squad this summer by bringing in seven new signings, while also rewarding several key players with improved and extended contracts.
Ethan Ampadu, Brenden Aaronson and Jayden Bogle signed new contracts over the summer to commit their long-term future to Leeds United following survival in the Premier League last season.
Leeds allowed several players to leave the club in the summer, which left space in the wage bill to offer new deals to a few key stars of the Whites team.
The Whites are also trying to ensure they remain within the Premier League’s new Squad Cost Ratio rules, but the club are set to finalise another new contract soon.

Leeds have an agreement in principle over a new deal
Daniel Farke has entered the final 12 months of his contract, and he has yet to sign an extension with the Premier League side.
Leeds are expected to hold talks with Farke and his representative during the next international break. But the club are willing to wait to finalise the terms of a new deal.
However, Square Ball podcast presenter Dan Moylan has claimed that a verbal agreement is in place between Leeds and Farke over a new deal.
But he stressed that there is no massive urgency on either side and the two sides are just working out the final details of Farke’s new contract at the moment.
“Farke’s contract: they’re dancing around this being signed off”, said Moylan on The Square Ball podcast
“A new deal has been agreed in principle, apparently, with some final details being worked through.
“He’s got until the summer, so it seems like there’s no massive urgency. He keeps kicking the can a little down the road with the international break coming in a couple of weeks.”

Leeds United should not allow this situation to fester
Daniel Farke has forged a good reputation by keeping Leeds United in the Premier League while spending less money than most of their rivals.
He has turned the Whites into one of the toughest sides to beat in the Premier League, and they are yet to lose this season.
It would come as little surprise if other clubs began showing interest in the coming months should Leeds and Farke remain unable to reach an agreement over a new contract.
Leeds need to avoid letting the situation drag on and risk becoming a problem, making it imperative that they get Farke to put pen to paper on a new deal as soon as possible.
