Leeds United boss Daniel Farke was pleased with how the game on Sunday night ended. Fans will be okay with how the club have entered the international break.
The Whites sit in fifth place in the Premier League and are unbeaten in five games.
But the draw with Palace could have been a better result. Farke admitted that it was not the team’s best game:
“You can’t expect to have 38 games of magical nights under the lights when you always overrun your opponents. We faced a difficult Crystal Palace side and it was not our best game and a bit scruffy at the end.
“But the team had to fight and dig in and it was defensively excellent so I’m happy with that.”
Going through a fixture list of Nottingham Forest, Brighton, Brentford and Newcastle and coming out with nine points is a very good start to the season.

Getting a point from their last game could be seen as good or bad, looking at the upcoming run of games.
Three points would have been a buffer for Leeds United, as their next game after the international break is against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. Farke’s men lost be five goals in their last visit.
In October, the Whites face Arsenal, Manchester United, Sunderland and Bournemouth.
November is not much easier as Leeds face Spurs, Chelsea and Coventry City.
The Premier League have announced that they have changed the kick off time for the home game against Spurs. The match will now be a 12.30pm kick-off for broadcast on TNT Sports on Saturday 7th November.
Broadcast selections for the months of December and November are being finalized by the league, and will be announced in the coming weeks.

Whites have a daunting schedule after the international break
The reason why many will look at the Palace game as a missed opportunity is because of the list of games following the international break.
As things stand, the Whites face Arsenal, Man United, Sunderland, Bournemouth, Spurs, Chelsea and Coventry City. Only three of these games will be played at Elland Road.
Daniel Farke will have to get this team firing on all cylinders if they want to survive such a gruelling schedule.
Keeping the players fit and rotating during this period will also be important. Making substitutions is something Farke has been criticized of in recent games.
