Leeds United have made a strong start to the Premier League season, despite the disappointing 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace at Elland Road on Sunday.

However, next summer the story could be different. Danny Welbeck’s move to Chelsea this year showed that the bigger teams are gradually turning towards having experience on the frontline.
If Calvert-Lewin has another good season at Leeds, there is no doubt that a top club may come in for him next summer, when he will have 12 months left on his contract.
Leeds may have to offer him a new deal to ensure that no club consider making a move for him next summer.
