Simon Jordan slammed a Leeds United fan heckling Sir Alex Ferguson during Sunday’s game. The incident took place when the Man United legend was leaving Elland Road.
A fan reportedly hurled some inappropriate comments at the former Premier League coach.
Jordan called it out saying he was fine with the banter between the fanbases, but what happened with Ferguson crossed the line.
Elland Road was very hostile to the visitors given the history between the two teams. Bryan Mbeumo’s goal silenced them for a while, before the whole stadium roared as Dominic Calvert-Lewin equalized early in the second half.
The home crowd did their best and created the atmosphere but it wasn’t enough as Leeds failed to find a winner.

After Simon Jordan’s rant on the incident between the Leeds fan and Sir Alex Ferguson, a caller on talkSPORT defended the fanbase.
He said that one single individual should not tarnish the good nature of Leeds fans, and that everyone condemned his actions.
Jordan then spoke about Elland Road, saying the fan base was ‘hostile’. Sean Dyche defended Leeds fans and the club saying that at this level of football, their fandom should be commended.
“I think we commend them on that wouldn’t we? Cos you want fanbases to be like that.”
“I think it can be a cauldron in there. I’ve been there in the Championship and Premier League as a manager. You know you want them [the fans] to be like that.”
He then also condemned the behaviour of the fan who did that, saying the fan would not have done that if Sir Alex Ferguson was his father or grandfather.

Elland Road reputation has been earned over the years
Leeds have worked too hard for their reputation to be dragged in the mud over the last few years. From unsavoury chants to the booing of players, they have been in the news for the wrong reasons sometimes.
Elland Road is a great place to visit and watch football.
For the visiting clubs however, it is a normal hostile environment you would find anywhere else in football. Teams are afraid to come and play there and that is what gives the Whites the advantage to win games.
The actions of some fans should not ruin the hard work of a dedicated fanbase like the one Leeds have.
Make no apologies to hated scum who got away with way worse than anything City have done. Becoming old and senile doesn’t wipe out your crimes against sport.
