Leeds United have done decent business to sign three players this summer. However, Daniel Farke has stressed the importance of adding more quality.
James Trafford’s arrival from Manchester City for a club record fee of £45m has been the highlight of Leeds’ recruitment in the ongoing summer transfer window.
However, Leeds had to beat clubs involved in European football to the signature of Harry Wilson, who joined the club on a free transfer earlier in the summer.
Tarik Muharemovic has looked worth the £34m fee the Whites splashed out for him, and the centre-back has seamlessly replaced Pascal Struijk in the team.

Tarik Muharemovic emerged as the surprise target for Leeds this summer once Pascal Struijk left the club to join Brighton at the end of June.
Leeds splashed out big money on the defender, and Juventus, who received a part of the fee, were shocked by the amount of money the Whites paid.
However, Leeds were confident of the player they were getting, and Sassuolo sporting director Francesco Palmieri confirmed that there was enormous interest in the Bosnian.
He insisted that the move to Leeds made everyone happy and the club are proud that Muharemovic got the opportunity to play in the Premier League.
Palmieri was quoted as saying by Italian outlet FcInterNews: “There was enormous interest from several clubs, and then one emerged that genuinely wanted the player, and this great deal was completed.
“It made the lad happy and, really, made everyone happy because for us it’s also a source of enormous pride and satisfaction to sell one of our players for a significant fee, while also giving him the opportunity to play in the Premier League, which is the dream of many footballers.”
Leeds need more signings
The 49ers have made a strong start to the summer by bringing in three quality additions in Harry Wilson, Tarik Muharemovic and James Trafford. But there is still more work to do.
Leeds need another goalkeeper to provide cover for Trafford, with Alex Cairns viewed as the third-choice option. Nick Pope could be an option, particularly after he was left out of Newcastle’s pre-season game on Saturday.
The Whites are also still looking for a striker who can support Dominic Calvert-Lewin and step in when needed. They also want to add a versatile attacker, a position they have been trying to strengthen throughout the summer.
Gabriel Gudmundsson’s injury has highlighted another weakness, meaning Leeds are now also looking for additional cover at full-back.
