Leeds United beat RB Leipzig 2-0 at Elland Road on Saturday as they continued their impressive pre-season form ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
The Whites have shown ambition in their recruitment this summer by signing Harry Wilson on a free transfer earlier in the window before splashing £34m on Tarik Muharemovic.
Leeds also paid a club-record fee of £45m to sign goalkeeper James Trafford from Manchester City last week. He will be the number 1 at Elland Road when the season starts.
The financial commitment made to Wilson while spending another £79m on two players shows their ambition. However, the Leeds boss indicated that it is not enough.

Daniel Farke sends transfer message to the 49ers
The Leeds manager must be impressed with what he has seen from his team during pre-season, but he wants to add more quality before the end of the window.
He admitted that he has never managed to sign every player he wanted in a transfer window, but insisted that he is happy with the business Leeds have done this summer.
However, he stressed the importance of improving the quality of his squad before the window closes, as it would only make his job easier next season.
Farke also insisted that the club and their supporters deserve a squad good enough to progress in the Premier League next season.
“Never in one season did I get every player that I wanted”, the Leeds boss told BBC Radio Leeds.
“I’m just happy and delighted with my spots; I back all of them to play a good role for the season.”
“I’m happy with our new signings, but of course I’m also a bit greedy; I want as much quality as possible because this makes our whole job easier.”
“This is what our supporters deserve; this is what this club deserves.”
Leeds also need to sell a few players soon to make room for more signings
Leeds United are expecting to see several more players leave before the transfer window closes as they look to raise funds and trim Daniel Farke’s squad.
Lucas Perri is edging closer to a move to Torino, while Leeds are also willing to consider offers for Sebastiaan Bornauw if a suitable bid comes in.
Largie Ramazani remains one of the strongest candidates to leave Elland Road, although Valencia are currently waiting to see whether Leeds lower their asking price.
Wilfried Gnonto and Joel Piroe could also depart if the right offers arrive, with the Whites believing both players could bring in significant fees.
Brenden Aaronson is another player whose future remains uncertain. The American is now entering the final year of his contract, leaving Leeds with an important decision to make before the window closes.
Always a waiting game at Leeds for transfer targets, but concerned the window will close before anymore sign, and not sure x3 is enough?
We definitely need another keeper, that’s glaringly obvious and i’m sure they’l get it sorted. The 49’rs deserve huge credit for backing Farke again in this window, but we need another striker/centre forward cos in my opinion Nmechia isn’t good enough. If it was me, i’d go for Zian Flemming or Pavel Sulk. There was talk about De Lap but I think he’s shit ! What about Harvey Elliot ?
Fans will naturally be anxious for new signings. After all we have not really had 3 extra signings because we lost 2 keepers ( and replaced one) also Pascal was sold and he was replaced. The players brought in are an upgrade but we need at least 4 more players including a supporting goal keeper. I hope the 49s can get most of the right players in before the season starts. At least 2 are needed urgently.
Basically, we are selling to buy. Delighted with the three we have, but I’m not confident of anymore big deals. I’ve been suspicious of the 49ers transfer dealings since the start. This year, I am not overwhelmed with their business. We need more quality up front. Because DCL is not prolific and if he gets injured we are screwed.
