This Sunday gives Leeds United the perfect chance to get back on track following last week’s defeat. Losing to Arsenal last weekend was a disappointing result for everyone involved.
They took the lead early in the second half after having played well for over 60 minutes. However, the defence could not keep out the Premier League champions, who scored twice in the space of eight minutes to win the tie.
Daniel Farke’s men have lost their first game this season, after having an unbeaten run before the international break.
Leeds are now up against Michael Carrick’s Manchester United, who themselves are not in great form.
The Red devils have not won a game in their last five matches, and the defeat in the Champions League sparked a lot of conversations. Carrick and the players will now be under pressure to get a result on Sunday.

The game will be very important to Leeds United, but they are under less pressure following their impressive start to the campaign.
Many have tipped Farke’s sides as the favourites ahead of this weekend, as most have no hope in Michael Carrick’s side getting a result. talkSPORT’s Rory Jennings has made a bold prediction for the team.
He thinks it will be an easy win for the hosts on Sunday.
“I have gone for another tap-in – Leeds United to win at Elland Road.
“Calvert-Lewin and Ethan Ampadu will smash you all over the place. They are everything you [Manchester United] are not and that’s why you are in trouble.
“They are well organised and they are well-coached.”
The last Premier League game between the two sides ended with the Whites taking all three points at Old Trafford.

Can Leeds smash their opponents on Sunday?
The Whites are capable of big results at Elland Road; last season they mauled Chelsea and just this campaign they put four goals past Newcastle United.
Michael Carrick’s side have been very poor this season and have struggled against teams they are expected to beat. That will be the case on Sunday when they visit Elland Road.
Daniel Farke’s men are very capable of producing goals when needed, if they get their shooting boots on anything is possible.
A win is the most important thing going into Sunday, and if Leeds are able to play at a similar level like they did against Arsenal they have a huge chance of doing that against Man United.
