Leeds United were pursuing two transfer deals over the past weekend. The Whites began their Premier League campaign with a win over Nottingham Forest.
Fans will be even more excited after the team followed it up with another win over Oliver Glasner’s side in the League Cup on Tuesday.
But with less than a week to go until the transfer deadline, the club have a lot of work to do.
Leeds tried to sign Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk; they made a loan offer before last weekend, which was rejected by the London club. Reports claim that talks were ended earlier this week.
However, there is a possibility that the deal can be revisited before the deadline.
Chelsea would prefer to move him to Strasbourg, but if Leeds can guarantee more playing time they could stand a chance.
Leeds United transfer on course after player makes decision

Another transfer deal the Whites were pursuing was a move for Michael Zetterer.
The Eintracht Frankfurt keeper has been a target for Leeds United. They want him to join as backup to James Trafford.
However, the initial stages of the deal looked shaky as Zetterer’s agent denied any move. Florian Plettenburg also reported that no agreement has been reached,but the deal is ‘one to watch’.
Kicker in Germany are now reporting that the 31-year old’s exit is now ‘imminent’.
The report adds that the player has changed his mind over the potential move. Michael Zetterer is believed to have flown to Leeds over the weekend to hold talks with the club and has now been convinced over a move.

Club need to move on to other areas
With the addition of a backup goalkeeper, Leeds now have cover for James Trafford this season.
This ticks one huge need for the club.
Now the 49ers need to focus on other areas of the team. Reports claim that a defender, a striker and a winger are possible targets.
Leeds have already had a bid turned down for Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk, but could still pursue a move before the deadline.
A defensive addition could be needed, with Gabriel Gudmundsson not having a deputy at left back. The Swedish international’s recent injuries are a cause for concern heading into this season.
With Joel Piroe gone, the Whites also need another striker. Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha cannot be the only striking options in this campaign.
