Leeds United made a fantastic start to the new season with a 1-0 win away at Nottingham Forest on Saturday, but there is still plenty for the club to sort out in the transfer market.
With just a week left before the window closes, the Whites are running out of time to address several key areas ahead of the September 1 deadline.
Leeds are still looking for a reliable back-up goalkeeper, with Lucas Perri expected to leave the club before the window shuts. They also need cover at left-back, particularly with Gabriel Gudmundsson’s fitness still a concern.
A new striker remains another priority, while Daniel Farke is also keen to bring in a left-sided forward to give Leeds more options and another dimension in attack.

Leeds United target set to leave before the window closes
Igor Paixao has been heavily linked with a move to Leeds, who have held talks with his representatives this summer to discuss a potential switch.
Leeds wanted him last year, but the winger chose to join Marseille. The French club need to sell players before September 1 to solve some of their major financial issues.
Paixao has been reluctant to leave Marseille, and the French club have been holding firm on their £40m+ valuation of the player while Leeds are only prepared to offer £30m.
However, with a week left in the window, Marseille are under real pressure to sell players, and according to French outlet Belo Foot 13, Paixao is nearing an exit in the coming days.
The French giants have received a new offer from an unnamed club, and the two sides are in negotiations over a potential transfer.
If the deal progresses, Marseille are likely to keep the Brazilian out of their squad against Monaco on Sunday.

Leeds United’s priorities for the rest of the window
While Daniel Farke would like to add more creativity to his squad, Leeds United have more immediate problems to solve before they can turn their attention to another versatile attacker.
Joel Piroe’s departure has left the Whites needing a new number nine who can play alongside Dominic Calvert-Lewin or step in for him when needed.
Alex Cairns’ performance against Manchester United also underlined the need for a reliable number two behind James Trafford. Leeds need someone they can trust to step up if their first-choice goalkeeper is unavailable.
Gabriel Gudmundsson’s injury has exposed another weakness, with the squad lacking a natural replacement for the Sweden international.
The Whites also cannot keep relying on James Justin to cover gaps across the backline. Bringing in a genuine back-up left-back should therefore be another priority for Farke before the transfer window closes.
