The season is almost over at Leeds United, but plans are already underway behind the scenes. Reports emerged that club sources have a plan for the summer.
They indicated that a list of targets was being drawn up for the summer window, so no definite list was confirmed yet. Leeds did a great job in the last summer transfer window.
The team managed to add a lot of quality and that translated on the field. Adding starting players like Jaka Bijol, Gabriel Gudmundsson and Anton Stach elevated the quality in the team.
Guys like Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor also added the cutting edge up front. Other players like James Justin and Sean Longstaff were very valuable as options off the bench.
Leeds United line up shock move for South American wonderkid
Per El Intransigente, Leeds United are keen on Boca Juniors star Milton Delgado. The youngster is making waves in South America football, with many confident he will leave the club soon.
Delgado broke into the first team after an injury crisis, and has now become a consistent starter. Moving forward, Boca Juniors consider him a fundamental piece of the team.
The 20-year old is said to be attracting serious suitors around Europe – Leeds United, Everton, Sunderland and Crystal Palace are all interested.
The report adds that Boca will not part ways with the young midfielder for less than £11 million. That fee could go up if he continues to impress as the season goes on.

What does his first team path look like?
Currently, Leeds have Ethan Ampadu, Anton Stach, Sean Longstaff, Ao Tanaka and Ilia Gruev in midfield. Each of them have different skillsets they bring to the team.
But as this season has gone on, it is clear that the club could dip into the market for some more quality.
If Leeds do manage to sign Milton Delgado, it would be a smart move. He is young and can develop if he is on the righ track. There will be questions about adapting to English football.
He could easily do what Pascal Struijk did in his early years at Elland Road; play with the U21 side for a while before moving permanently to the first team.
The Whites have also had some success doing that with Summerville, and most recently Wilfried Gnonto.
