He bullied the Newcastle defenders into rising up and scored a brilliant goal at Elland Road last Monday night.
Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino has claimed that Dominic Calvert-Lewin is the best header of the ball in the Premier League, even better than Erling Haaland.
He is delighted to see that Calvert-Lewin is not only showing his quality for Leeds every week but also proving his injury struggles are behind him.
Cascarino said on talkSPORT: “He’s the best header of the ball in the Premier League, for me as a centre-forward.
“Some might say Haaland, but Calvert-Lewin has got a natural leap and a natural way of directing balls into corners and looking to score goals.
“When he had the great year at Everton, he was phenomenal for a year, but his career was blighted by injury. What you’re seeing at Leeds is that he’s really durable and he’s playing week in, week out now.”

Calvert-Lewin will soon force Leeds to make a decision
The striker will have a year left on his contract at the end of the ongoing season, and next summer could be crucial for his future at Elland Road.
Leeds have decided not to entertain offers for him in 2027 and are calm about his contract situation for now.
However, if he has another good season at Leeds and remains injury-free, there is no reason a big club wouldn’t consider him next summer.
Chelsea’s decision to sign Danny Welbeck this summer shows that there is a market for experienced Premier League-proven strikers at the top end of the table.
If a Champions League club makes an offer for him next year, it would not be a major surprise if he turned his head.
Leeds may soon have to considering offering him a new contract to ward off any interest in the striker next summer.
