Leeds United have made a terrific start to the season and are unbeaten in their opening four Premier League games ahead of today’s home game against Crystal Palace.

Several Leeds stars have excelled at the start of the season, and that has reflected in several national team squad selections ahead of the international break.

New Germany head coach Jurgen Klopp has recalled Anton Stach after his impressive start at Elland Road this season, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin is also back in the England set-up under Thomas Tuchel.

However, a few more Leeds players deserve a call-up, and Daniel Farke has said Jayden Bogle should be in the England squad after his performances.

Danny Mills tells Leed star to demand a pay rise from Farke

Jayden Bogle has been knocking on the England door with his consistency in the Premier League since last season, but Tuchel has so far ignored the Leeds star.

Daniel Farke has insisted the right-back deserves a chance with England after his form for Leeds since their promotion to the Premier League.

Bogle signed a new contract with Leeds in the summer, but Danny Mills has insisted that he must demand another pay rise if Farke thinks he is good enough to play for England.

He stressed that the defender deserves to be paid like an England player if the manager believes he has the quality to be in the Three Lions squad.

Mills was quoted as saying by the Sun: “If I’d just heard that from my manager, I’d be straight into the club for a new contract.

“First and foremost – the manager thinks I should be in the England squad, then okay, pay me like an England player.

“I’m pretty sure Jayden Bogle will be delighted with that!”

Leeds did well to tie down Bogle to a new deal

Liverpool were sniffing around Bogle in the winter transfer window earlier this year, when they were apparently looking for a right-back solution mid-season.

Leeds moved quickly to shut down speculation about his future by tying him to a new contract in the summer.

Bogle has emerged as one of the best right-backs in the Premier League, and it would not have been a surprise if a few clubs were looking at him in the last window.

However, Leeds deserve credit for sorting out his future and it is certain that Bogle is happy at Elland Road.
