Leeds are in a bit of a slump in recent games. They have started this season on a very positive note but their last few games have been worrying.
If Daniel Farke’s men want to continue on their path to becoming an established Premier League side, then they have to win games.
A few weeks ago, they took the lead against Brighton and ended with a point. Then they had the lead against Arsenal but lost the game after conceding twice in 10 minutes.
Against Manchester United, they had to come from a goal down but when they did they missed a whole lot of chances.
This weekend, the Whites face Sunderland who might be in an even worse situation.

The Black Cats are bottom of the Premier League with just four points. They have one win this season, which came against Fulham in August. Since then, Regis Le Bris’ side have failed to win a league game.
Leeds United are expected to be the clear favourites for this clash, but not according to predictions from these Supercomputer models.
Stats Insider Australia gives Leeds a 39.4% chance of winning with Sunderland having a 33.2% chance.
XG Edge has the Black Cats with a 39% chance of winning while giving Leeds just a 31% chance.
XG Stat favours the Whites, giving them a 37% chance of winning but Sunderland have a 34% chance of winning.
Out of these three models, only two give Leeds a chance of winning and even those margins are slim. Which means that according to their advanced data, Daniel Farke’s side are only slight favourites ahead of Sunday’s game.

Models’ predictions are outrageous
It is fair to say some of these super computers have stats not every fan has access to.
They may be using some data points that the eye cannot clearly see or process.
But a team that has lost four league games in a row should not be tipped to beat Leeds United. Giving how well Farke’s side have played this season and the fact that their only defeat has come at the hands of Premier League holders Arsenal, they should be given more respect.
Ultimately, football is played on the pitch and Leeds will need to show up if they want to win at the Stadium of Light.
Leeds v Sunderland is always a big game and is regarded by many as a local derby. So another tense afternoon ahead and another close game and the forecasters are right about that.
