For all the hard work Daniel Farke has done at Leeds United, his record has not been flawless. The German coach has had his fair share of disputes with the fanbase.

Most of this has had to do with his man management. Farke is a brilliant coach who is able to get the best from any group of players.

His decisions have always been justified with results on the pitch but sometimes it ends up rubbing players the wrong way.

Farke has reportedly fallen out with a lot of players during his time at Elland Road. It is believed he chose not to play Max Wober when the defender was fit due to a disagreement.

His decision not to play the likes of Largie Ramazani and Wilfried Gnonto also upset some members of the fanbase.

One of the biggest controversies involving the Leeds boss till date is how he handled Charlie Cresswell.

After an impressive loan spell with Millwall, many thought the defender was set for the top. But when Cresswell was integrated into the first team the following season, he was behind Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk in the pecking order.

So in 2024, he forced a move away due to lack of playing time.

In a recent interview with Get French Football News, Cresswell spoke about his decision to leave.

“It was a, I think that was the biggest decision I made in football. Because leaving home, leaving England, is such a scary, scary decision. And for me at the time, it was a big decision. I’ve been a Leeds fan since I was eight. I’d been at the club since I was 10, but, looking back, I was 20 years old with no games and I needed to get out and go play,”
