Leeds United will be looking to build on their current run of games, after rescuing another result against Brentford over the weekend. The Whites are now unbeaten in their last three games.
Coming from the last international break, the club knew that they would have a difficult time against Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool. But they shocked everyone, getting two huge results. Daniel Farke’s tactical switch against the Blues paid off in a huge way as they beat the away side 3-1. When the Reds visited Elland Road, it looked like they would leave with a win.
But Daniel Farke once again changed the team shape and Leeds came from 2-0 down to draw 3-3.
Crystal Palace to ring changes for Leeds United clash
Up next for the Whites is a game against Oliver Glasner and his Palace side. The Eagles are flying this season, and currently sit in fifth place in the Premier League. Ahead of their visit to Elland Road, Glasner has revealed that he may be forced to rotate his players. While Leeds have a full week to prepare for their next game, Palace have a Conference League tie on Thursday before making the trip to West Yorkshire on Saturday.
| Competition | Opponent | Home/Away |
|---|---|---|
| Conference League | KuPS | Home |
| Premier League | Leeds United | Away |
Oliver Glasner actually hinted at this last week, as he said in the press conference before the game against Shelbourne:
“It would be a little bit easier to rest 10 or 12 players for the KuPS game next week,”
“I won’t start anybody on Thursday evening and then on Saturday evening [at Leeds] because I feel responsible for the players’ welfare.
“This would make it a little bit easier with a win.”

Daniel Farke’s side have a huge advantage
Resting a lot of players with a huge game at Elland Road means that Leeds United have a huge advantage. Their home form is what has been keeping them in the league this season. After huge results against Chelsea and Liverpool, they will be looking to add Crystal Palace to that list.
| Statistic | Home | Away |
|---|---|---|
| Points | 12 | 4 |
| Goals | 13 | 7 |
| Goals Conceded | 11 | 19 |
The Whites have a relatively easier schedule from now to January, and will be hoping to pick up more points as they distance themselves from the relegation zone. With their new found confidence following their unbeaten streak, getting a win this Saturday is never out of the question.
Palace will make changes for the game against Kups not against Leeds as we have already blooded young in-form players in our last European match which we won 3-0 to cap a fine week where we won 3 away games on the trot at Burnley , Fulham and in Shelbourne. Palace are top of the U18 League having already scored 42 goals in just 15 games and so any replacement players are bang in-form and they deserve a chance to step up if required. Palace have the best away record in the Premier League with just 5 goals conceded
