Leeds United have now completed their training camp and tour in the US this summer. They ended their trip in the best way possible, with a win over Liverpool in Chicago.
Daniel Farke’s men came from 2-0 down at half time to win the game 4-2.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored a brace, and Brenden Aaronson had a goal and assist in that second half comeback. The team managed to win two games during their US tour.
Leeds lost their first game of the summer 3-2 to Wrexham in Tampa Bay.
They bounced back with a 1-0 win over Sunderland before recording another victory over Andoni Iraola’s Liverpool side.

Leeds United were able to get a competitive run out in these games against decent level opposition.
However, not every player in the first team made the trip.
Four players were left out of the squad list, as the club plans to move them on. Max Wober left on a free transfer, Jack Harrison moved to the MLS while Joe Gelhardt and Largie Ramazani resolve their futures.
Noah Okafor did not make the trip, as he was allowed a few weeks off after being involved in the World Cup.
Daniel Farke gave an update to LUTV on when the winger will be joining up with the first team squad.
“We know there’s lots of work to do in building our fitness levels and our flexibility that we want in building our squad. Also to get some key players back. Noah Okafor will join us from next week [now this week], back in training.”

49ers should have gotten more signings in during US camp
Last summer Daniel Farke revealed how much importance he placed on the preseason camp in Germany.
It was based on that he made huge calls in the first team. Jaka Bijol and Sebastiaan Bornauw took months before playing in the first team because they only featured in the final few pre-season games.
Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk were the first choice pairing and started the early games in camp in Germany, so Farke did not change the setup.
So far, the Whites have only made two signings this summer.
Three games were played in the US with key sessions in between, this is all crucial time to help in adaptation. The club will now have to hope the rest of their signings arrive in time for the remaining games in pre-season back in England.
