Leeds United went into their pre-season camp in the US having signed just two players. In the days leading up to the trip, many reports emerged on the progress of some transfer deals.

The Whites left their final offer on the table for Southampton midfielder Shea Charles.

They will return to hold talks if the Saints take their offer up. A move for Julian Brandt is now dead, after the German chose a move to Dutch Eredivisie side Ajax last week.

As on Monday, James Trafford remains a Manchester City player.

The England international has not yet completed his move to Elland Road. Leeds have been in talks with City for over a week, with both parties understood to have reached an agreement.

Leeds United exit set to be delayed once again

Graham Smyth gave an update, saying that such a big deal will take time.

James Trafford is set to join Leeds United for a deal in excess of £40 million. With the pre-season trip in the US now over, it is expected that a deal will be completed when the team return to England.

Trafford’s move will give the green light for Lucas Perri to complete his transfer to Torino.

The Brazilian was reportedly expected to be in Italy to finalize negotiations last week. However, an update from Toro Zone podcast host Giacomo Morandin, the deal is far from over.

Per Morandin, a deal has not been finalized yet been finalized despite the agreement between both clubs.

The report also adds that Trafford is expected to return from holiday next week, and City are not willing to release him earlier. Morandin then adds that it will take ”a few more days” for the transfer to be completed.

Until Trafford arrives and completes his move, Torino will continue to wait for Perri.
