Leeds United have made a strong start to the summer, but Daniel Farke and the club’s recruitment team still have plenty of work to get through before the new Premier League season begins.
The Whites got their business underway by bringing in Harry Wilson on a free transfer, before spending £34m to sign Sassuolo centre-back Tarik Muharemovic.
They then made their biggest statement of the window by signing James Trafford from Manchester City for a club-record £45m, with the England international expected to take over as Leeds’ first-choice goalkeeper for the long term.
But Leeds are far from finished. The club remain active in the transfer market and are still looking to strengthen several key areas before the window closes.

Leeds United need to clear a few players out before the transfer window closes, with Daniel Farke still having some unwanted members of the squad to move on.
The Whites want to bring in another striker, but Joel Piroe remains at Elland Road for now. They are also willing to listen to offers for Wilfried Gnonto, who is no longer considered essential to Farke’s plans.
Largie Ramazani is another player Leeds are keen to move on. The winger has been left out of the club’s pre-season plans, yet a transfer has still not materialised.
Valencia have shown interest following his loan spell in Spain last season, but the two clubs have so far failed to reach an agreement, with the Spanish side unwilling to meet Leeds’ asking price.
The Spanish club remain interested in the winger as Carlos Corberan remains a fan, but the club’s financial constraints are a problem.
However, according to Tribuna Deportiva, Los Che could soon receive a major financial boost that could unlock the Ramazani deal.
Valencia have received the green light from their owner in Singapore to activate a financial mechanism that could boost their Financial Fair Play margin by up to £15m per season for both this campaign and the next.
If La Liga approves the request, Valencia would have significantly more room to manoeuvre in the transfer market, potentially putting them in a much stronger position to complete a deal for the 25-year-old.
Leeds will have to sell Largie Ramazani
Largie Ramazani is clearly not part of Daniel Farke’s plans, something the Leeds boss underlined by leaving the Belgian out of the club’s pre-season tour.
Farke did not trust Ramazani enough during Leeds’ Championship campaign, and there is little reason to expect that to change now. With Harry Wilson already through the door and Leeds still looking to add another player on the left, Ramazani’s path back into the first-team picture looks virtually non-existent.
That leaves Leeds needing to find him a new club before the transfer window closes, putting them in a difficult negotiating position. Valencia and other interested clubs know the Whites are keen to move him on and are likely to wait for his price to drop as deadline day approaches.
Leeds may therefore have to accept a lower fee than they wanted or consider another loan if they are to finally get Ramazani off their books this summer.
