Leeds United crashed out of the EFL Cup on Wednesday night after Chelsea scored six goals in the second half to hammer them 6-3 at Stamford Bridge.
The home side scored half a dozen goals after Leeds took a 2-0 lead, breaking Leeds’ hearts and progressing to the fourth round of the EFL Cup tonight.
Michael Zetterer has come under fire after a shocking performance on his debut and is now unlikely to play for the Whites again for a while unless James Trafford suffers an injury.
Daniel Farke has reasons to feel concerned about the quality of his number 2 goalkeeper and some of the defending. However, the Leeds boss was raging after what the referee did toward the end of the game.

The Leeds United manager was fuming on the sidelines
By the end of the game, the Leeds manager had seen his team throw away a 2-0 lead and were on the brink of getting knocked out of the EFL Cup.
However, in the 88th minute, Farke believed that his team had a legitimate claim for a penalty after Noah Okafor was seemingly fouled inside the penalty box.
The referee waved away all protests from the Leeds players, and Chelsea added another goal in stoppage time to complete the rout at Stamford Bridge.
Daniel Farke was seen fuming at the referee for not giving his side a penalty, which could have made the score 5-4 with minutes still left on the clock.
Okafor appeared to have been fouled inside the box, but the referee was in no mood to give Leeds a way back into the game at that late stage.

Farke will hope Leeds will move on from this defeat
When Brenden Aaronson scored Leeds United’s second goal, the away fans were dreaming of a first win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge since 1999.
However, six second-half goals from Chelsea dashed those dreams and the players and the supporters will have to travel back to Leeds disappointed.
Farke will be more concerned about the defending and Zetterer’s quality. However, he will hope that the players get over this defeat soon.
They have a big game this weekend when they host Newcastle United at Elland Road and the manager will need his men to be fit and ready for a tough match.
