Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has made his feelings clear about his squad ahead of the end of the summer transfer window on Tuesday.
Farke’s side played out a 1-1 draw against Brentford at Elland Road earlier today after Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored in the 79th minute to rescue a point for the home side.
Leeds have made a solid start to the season, scoring four points from their opening two league games, but there are still gaps in the squad that need to be plugged.
With the transfer window set to close in just over 48 hours, Leeds are in desperate need of a couple of additions for Farke to feel secure about the options in his squad.

Leeds secured their fifth summer signing on Saturday when they confirmed goalkeeper Michael Zetterer’s arrival from Eintracht Frankfurt on a permanent deal.
Farke has admitted that he is happy with the goalkeeping options in his squad after the German’s arrival, but conceded that there are still gaps in terms of his outfield players.
He insisted that Leeds will continue to remain vigilant until the final minutes of the transfer deadline and admitted that a couple more additions would be more than useful.
Farke said after the 1-1 draw against Brentford: “Happy with the goalkeeper position.
“Outfield, the group is not too big. Senior centre-backs and wing-backs, we don’t have the most.
“We will stay awake.
“One or two more additions would definitely be helpful. With the players I’ve got, I’m very happy.”

Leeds definitely need a striker
Lukas Nmecha provided the driven cross that Calvert-Lewin converted from close range in the 79th minute. But they are the only two recognised strikers in the squad.
Calvert-Lewin’s fitness issues are well-documented despite his 14-goal Premier League season last year, and Nmecha has never been a prolific scorer in his career.
Leeds allowed Joel Piroe to join West Ham on loan, but are yet to bring in a replacement for him with 48 hours left in the transfer window.
The Whites would be taking a major gamble if they do not sign a striker and could pay the price when the games come thick and fast later in the season.
