Leeds United had a really crazy end to the transfer window. The Whites ended up adding two new players at the deadline after an interesting summer overall.
Leeds signed Melvin Bard and Jean-Matteo Bahoya on Tuesday.
Bard’s deal came as a bit of a surprise as many at the club had left the thought of adding a new defender. Bahoya was a surprising name, but people around the club knew they were going to add a new attacker.
Wilfried Gnonto’s move to Fiorentina guaranteed that the club was going to bring in a replacement.

There was more drama on deadline day with the club reportedly receiving offers for Noah Okafor.
Fabrizio Romano and other journalists revealed that multiple clubs made enquiries about the winger, with one club even offering a £35 million bid.
When Farke was asked about the noise of a deadline day move for Okafor, he took the chance to mention how important the player is to Leeds United.
”Not even a topic. Sometimes there are crazy developments, some clubs have interesting ideas.” he said in Thursday’s press conference.
”Why would we even think about letting him go? He’s one of our key players in offence. Why would Noah think of something different?”
”Sometimes a panic on deadline day but for us not even worth mentioning to me. Would be a joke to get rid of Noah.”
Okafor had eight goals and three assists, and ended the campaign as one of the club’s better attacking players.

Why Noah Okafor was never going to leave
First and most importantly, one of the club’s best players from last year was never going to leave on deadline day.
Okafor is an important part of the team Daniel Farke has planned with going forward, and finding a replacement would have been almost impossible. The transfer fee being rumoured was also too low for the winger.
Also, selling Noah Okafor would disrupt the team.
His departure would mean bringing in another new player in an attack that has already lost many pieces.
Leeds have loaned out Joel Piroe and Wilfried Gnonto, who played important rotation minutes last season. Selling Okafor and bringing a new player would have meant there would be too many new faces to gel in time for the season.
Should have taken the golden opportunity and recall the vastly undervalued and underolayed Oxafor who played 21 matches producing no goals and assists but kept on being picked .Definetly a SICK JOKE
