Leeds United fans have been very critical about the transfer business that has gone on this summer. But one key transfer was crucial enough to help a club’s Sporting Director change his future.
Daniel Farke received crucial reinforcements in this window with the addition of James Trafford, Tarik Muharemovic and Harry Wilson among other players.
Outside securing quality options for the first team, the depth options were also very solid. The club managed to get a backup goalkeeper, cover at left back and a replacement for Wilfried Gnonto.
Fans have complained about the team missing out on a striker.
But per Beren Cross’ update in The Athletic, club sources are adamant that no position in the team need immediate reinforcement.

Daniel Farke now has a host of options to count on going into this season, having a established a solid foundation last year.
Leeds made some really smart transfers like landing Harry Wilson on a free transfer and Tarik Muharemovic, a very dependable backup goalkeeper. One of the more surprising signings was Jean-Matteo Bahoya.
The French forward arrived on deadline day with the Whites having sanctioned a deal to take Wilfried Gnonto to Fiorentina.
Bahoya arrived on a loan deal with an obligation to buy. This transfer is said to have played a key role in Eintrach Frankfurt Sporting Director Markus Krösche’s future at the club.
According to Friday’s edition of BILD, late window deals that sold Jean-Matteo Bahoya and Hugo Larsson for a combined £43 million have extended his future at the club.
The report claims that the German club had a meeting after the deadline, where Krösche convinced the Frankfurt board with the late sales of Larsson and Bahoya. He now has the full backing of the club and will continue in his role.

Jean-Mattoe Bahoya is a bit of a gamble by Leeds
Daniel Farke admitted that the club could not guarantee Wilfried Gnonto playing time this season.
With the winger gone, Leeds needed to find someone to take up the minutes he played last year. Gnonto was a rotation player that played in cup games and came off the bench.
Bahoya’s arrival means that the young forward is set for that role.
But the 21-year old has only played three seasons of first team football, making over 70 appearances. It will take a while for him to adapt to English football, and no one knows how he will fare in this environment.
