This weekend could see some of Leeds United’s summer signings in action as they face Brighton. And per club sources, there are expectations for the players brought in on deadline day.
The Whites brought in six players in total on Tuesday.
James Trafford, Tarik Muharemovic, Harry Wilson and Nico Elvedi came in by the middle of the window. Leeds then added backup goalkeeper Michael Zetterer before the final days of the transfer window.
And on Tuesday, the club looked like they would not make any moves, but surprised everyone.
Leeds brought in Melvin Bard and Jean-Matteo Bahoya on loan deals.

Bahoya arrived on deadline day after Leeds United gave the green light for Wilfried Gnonto to join Fiorentina.
It looked like a move for Mykhailo Mudryk was going to be revived before the Chelsea star chose a move to Spurs. The 49ers were then able to strike a deal to bring in the 21-year old French forward.
The deal to sign Melvin Bard was announced earlier on Tuesday.
Bard, also from France, joined on a season long loan from OGC Nice with an option to buy. From The Athletic, club sources already have their expectations for the 25-year old.
The report claims that the club are not really high on Bard coming in to replace Gabriel Gudmundsson. At best, they feel that the defender will be a very reliable deputy throughout the season.
Bard has a £4.3 million buy option which can be triggered during the loan.
There is no word on if Leeds will do that as the season progresses. Daniel Farke has said that the defender is in contention to face Brighton on Saturday.

Melvin Bard is a very good find by the 49ers
Per Farke, the injury to Joe Rodon last weekend played a part in the club pushing to sign cover in defence.
Gabriel Gudmundsson picked up a hamstring injury in pre-season that ruled him out for the first few games of this season. And following the fact that he got injured going into the World Cup, there were questions about depth in the position.
Leeds played last season without a natural left footed replacement for Gudmundsson, and now they have found one.
Melvin Bard is also able to play at left centre back according to Farke, so the Frenchman will allow the team to have some tactical flexibility. And on a loan deal with a cheap option to buy, it is good business.
