Leeds United have made a fantastic start to the season with a 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday, but there is still plenty for the club to sort out in the transfer market before the window closes.
The Whites are still looking for cover at goalkeeper, striker and left-back, while Daniel Farke would also like to add a versatile forward to give him more options in attack.
Leeds missed out on Julian Brandt after the Germany international chose to join Ajax, while it remains uncertain whether Igor Paixao will leave Marseille before the deadline despite the French club’s need to raise funds.
The club are also working to move several players on, but behind the scenes there is plenty of work going into further strengthening the squad over the coming days.

Leeds goalkeeper target on the verge of transfer
Lucas Perri has yet to leave the club, and he was on the bench in Leeds’ 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday.
Torino have developed cold feet over signing the Brazilian despite an agreement being in place between the two clubs since last week.
However, Leeds have been looking at goalkeepers to come in as their new number 2, and one of their targets is on the verge of a transfer this summer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Paraguay goalkeeper Orlando Gill is on the cusp of moving to Europe in the ongoing transfer window.
Leeds had Gill on their shortlist of targets to be James Trafford’s understudy this season, but the Paraguayan is on his way to France.
French side Lille have agreed to sign Gill this summer. They will pay a fee of just over ÂŁ3m to San Lorenzo and have agreed to include a 50 per cent sell-on clause.
The goalkeeper has already agreed personal terms with Lille and will soon complete the formalities of the transfer.
Leeds are also closing in on a deal to sign German goalkeeper Michael Zetterer from Eintracht Frankfurt, and he is in England to undergo a medical with the Whites.
Lucas Perri needs to leave Leeds
Lucas Perri needs to find a new club this summer, with no future at Leeds United after Daniel Farke made James Trafford his clear first-choice goalkeeper.
Torino do not appear to be in any rush to complete a deal for the Brazilian, while it is also unclear whether Marseille will revive their interest.
Juventus have reportedly shown an interest in Perri, with his agent expected to hold talks with the Serie A giants about a potential move in the near future.
Torino’s cooling interest could ultimately work in Perri’s favour, particularly if it opens the door to a move to a bigger club such as Juventus before the transfer window closes.
