Leeds United are likely to sign one more centre-back following the capture of Tarik Muharemovic from Sassuolo for a deal worth ÂŁ34m last week.
The 49ers splashed out the cash on the 23-year-old Bosnian defender, who became the second most expensive signing in Leeds United’s history when he completed the transfer on Friday.
He will solve a major headache for Daniel Farke next season as the Leeds boss needed a commanding centre-back to replace Pascal Struijk, who joined Brighton last month.
However, Leeds are expected to sign one more centre-back as Sebastiaan Bornauw is likely to be sold. But they are unlikely to sign a player who they were heavily linked with earlier in the summer.

Nottingham Forest are in advanced negotiations to sign Leeds United target
Leeds have been linked with several centre-backs, and the club are weighing up a few options before deciding on their next centre-back signing.
Borussia Monchengladbach defender Nico Elvedi is open to joining Leeds, and Daniel Farke coached him previously at the German club.
The Whites have also been linked with an interest in Udinese defender Oumar Solet, who is keen on moving to the Premier League this summer.
But one name Leeds are unlikely to consider now, despite heavy interest earlier in the summer, is Sporting Lisbon’s Ousmane Diomande.
However, a move to the Premier League still looks likely this summer, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that Nottingham Forest are interested in signing him.
The Italian journalist has confirmed that negotiations are underway between Forest and Sporting Lisbon for a deal to take the defender to the City Ground.
Forest are in advanced talks to sign the Ivory Coast defender, who is keen to move on from Sporting Lisbon in the ongoing transfer window.
They will have to offer more than ÂŁ30m to convince Sporting Lisbon to sell the centre-back this summer.

Ousmane Diomande is no longer a viable option for Leeds
Leeds seriously looked at signing Ousmane Diomande earlier in the summer, with suggestions that they had a verbal agreement in place with the player’s camp.
However, the Whites turned their attention towards Muharemovic and splashed out the cash to sign him as Struijk’s replacement in the ongoing window.
Diomande is going to cost more than ÂŁ30m, and Leeds cannot spend big money on another centre-back signing as they have other priorities in the market.
The second centre-back signing is likely to be a cheaper option, making Nico Elvedi a more realistic target than the Sporting Lisbon defender.
