Leeds United will be incredibly active in the transfer window. So far, the club have brought in two new players going into next season.
The 49ers are investing to improve the team ahead of their second campaign in the Premier League.
Harry Wilson has bolstered the Whites’ attack; he had 11 goals and eight assists for Fulham last season. Leeds also found a replacement for Pascal Struijk in Tarik Muharemovic.
There are a number of players at the club whose futures are undecided.
Leeds United star hints at exit
One of them is Leeds United striker Joel Piroe.
After sliding down the pecking order last season, the 26-year old’s future at Elland Road is up in the air. Piroe has spoken to Flashscore about his time in the Premier League, and his situation this summer.
“I just want to prove myself with Leeds in the Premier League. I had a little bit of the feeling that I didn’t want to run away from the challenge (in the winter transfer window). If the start is not going as I want it to, then after just half a season to run away from the challenge, that didn’t feel right as well. And I thought to myself, ‘Why run away after half a season when you have not experienced like a full season in the Premier League?’ I still see my future there (at Leeds),” Piroe said.
The striker hinted that a decision could be made on his future soon.
“Of course, when pre-season starts, I will see and feel a bit more about what the club thinks as well. But for now, I just want to present myself in a way where I can show these are the steps I’ve made in comparison to last season. And if it’s good enough and I get the chances, then I would be really happy. And if it’s not the case, then we will see what will happen.”

Whites need a new striker this summer
Regardless of if Joel Piroe leaves the club or not, Leeds need a new striker.
Going into next season with just Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin as options is not the best. The Whites had their issues in front of goal last season that need to be addressed.
The 49ers are currently working on signing other targets, but the center forward position is also very necessary.
Leeds cannot pursue the likes of Harry Wilson and Julian Brandt without giving them a target man who can finish in the box.
