Leeds United will be looking to continue their unbeaten run over Man United since the start of last season. Daniel Farke took four points off the red devils last year.

Leeds recorded a historic win at Old Trafford earlier this year, with Noah Okafor on the scoresheet.

Farke has actually won against Michael Carrick, who was in charge during their last game. The Whites now have the chance to beat the red devils at Elland Road for the first time in over 50 years.

The pressure is on at Old Trafford, the players and Carrick have heavily been criticised for their current form.

Man United are winless in their last five games including two games where they were up against 10 men when they faced City and Spurs.

Daniel Farke will have most of his players available this weekend, except Joe Rodon.

The Welsh defender has been ruled out of the game as he is yet to recover from his hamstring injury. Daniel James is back and has been involved in training ahead of Sunday’s game.

Michael Carrick’s side have some major injury doubts ahead of the game.

Luke Shaw, Kobbie Mainoo and Benjamin Sesko are in a race to be fit to play at Elland Road. Carrick also confirmed that Lisandro Martinez will be in the squad despite his outburst in the media this week.

Predicted Leeds XI for Sunday’s game

Leeds were very decent last time out despite losing to Arsenal, so it is unlikely that Daniel Farke makes a lot of changes.

The Whites were solid for most of the first 60 minutes of the game, but fell to pieces when they took the lead. The Gunners pulled one back, and never looked back after the goal.

Jaka Bijol is a major candidate to win his place back in the team following his cameo against Arsenal.

He brought some size and robust defending when he replaced Nico Elvedi, and he could well start over the Swiss defender against Man United. Another chance Farke could consider is bringing in Brenden Aaronson.

Anton Stach has had a drop in form in the last few weeks, and the team could do with a fresh option.

Aaronson has been decent in his cameos this season, and already has a goal. He would provide work rate off the ball as well as a valuable outlet in transition.

Predicted Leeds XI vs Man United: Trafford; Justin, Bijol, Muharemovic; Bogle, Ampadu, Tanaka, Gudmundsson; Aaronson; Okafor, Calvert-Lewin
