Saturday’s game between Leeds United and Arsenal ended in a disappointing result for the away fans. Daniel Farke’s men suffered their first defeat in the Premier League this season.
The Whites looked very promising in the game, and when they took the lead it was well deserved.
But Mikel Arteta made the right changes, and worked things out. Arsenal scored two goals in the space of eight minutes as they got back to winning ways on their return from the international break.
Leeds will be much more disappointed given how they were in control for most of the game.
Farke’s side are up against Manchester United next weekend, with Michael Carrick’s side also desperate for a win.

After the game, there was a lot of talk about how Leeds United were the better side.
Most pundits and former players agreed that the Whites could have gotten more out of the game. Even Arsenal midfielder Bruno Guimaraes admitted that the away side played well.
Martin Keown and Joe Cole were on TNT Sports discussing the result. Keown discussed at half time how Farke’s tactics derailed the Gunners.
“Credit to Leeds, I thought they were outstanding,” he said.
“(They were) compact, good in the duels and tenacious.
“The system was causing Arsenal all sorts of problems.”
Joe Cole agreed with what Keown said earlier after the game. He believed that the away side were better for most of the 90 minutes.
“Leeds were the better team for 65 minutes, make no bones about it,” Cole said.

Leeds should have gotten something from Saturday
Many will argue that Leeds playing well should have gotten them something out of the game, but Arsenal still managed to find a win.
Daniel Farke and Leeds should be very disappointed with how the game played out. The away side were better team and had control of the game for long periods, but failed to conver their chances.
When Arsenal pulled one back, it completely disrupted the flow of the game.
Both goals from the home side involved some poor defending. Riccardo Calafiori was unmarked in the box for the first goal, and the second one was disappointing with the team being cut open too easily.
Farke has a lot to work on with the team ahead of the game against Manchester United next weekend.
