Leeds United will have to pick themselves up and focus on their next game in the Premier League. The Whites lost to Arsenal at the Emirates stadium on Saturday.

The result was disappointing to a lot of fans, considering that they took the lead in the game.

Arsenal were stunned by James Justin’s opener, but adjusted and got themselves back into the game minutes later. Bruno Guimaraes then sealed the win for the home side finishing a well-worked team goal.

Leeds finally suffered their first defeat of the season, and now have to go back to the drawing board.

Up next for them is a game against Manchester United, who themselves are not in the best form to start the season.

The Manchester club failed to win this weekend, despite playing Spurs who were down to 10-men.

This is the second game that Michael Carrick’s side have failed to put away a team on a red card in the league this season. Playing Leeds United next is looking like a ”must-win” for the red devils.

And it seems that the pressure is mounting, with reports early on Monday.

Tuttomercatoweb are reporting that Antonio Conte is ‘reaching an agreement’ with Manchester United. This news arrives just days before the club face Leeds in what will be a very tense game.

Both sides are coming into that match with a point to prove.

The Whites will be desperate to get a result after letting one slip against the league holders, and Michael Carrick’s side seriously need a win. Six points from their first six games in the league is a very disappointing start for the red devils.

Will Michael Carrick be sacked before Leeds game?

As things stand, the reports about the Manchester United boss are only emerging from Italy.

The pressure is definitely on, giving the team’s poor start to the season. Six points from six games, including getting one point from two games against 10-men is terrible.

It will most likely emerge that this weekend’s game against Leeds will decide Carrick’s future.

The Whites need to get back on track and Manchester United desperately need a win. Whoever gets the result will put their Premier League campaign back on track going forward.
