Leeds monitoring Adama Traore

According to Ekrem Konur, Leeds are among the clubs monitoring Adama Traore ahead of the January window.

Traore returned to Wolves this season after Barcelona refused to sign him on a permanent deal after his loan. He’s made only 12 appearances season with 6 coming off the bench. New Wolves manager Julien Lopetegui is trying to get the forward to sign a new deal:

“We have a big consideration about Adama and we are going to try, of course, to have him continue here,” Lopetegui said.

“But we will see. I don’t know what is going to happen, but I know his commitment with us is big and this is my demand as a coach. After, I don’t know what will happen.

“I like Adama and the rest of the players on my team. For me, the best players are always on my team because they will be the main actors for the next few matches.”

The 26-year old’s contract at the Molineux expires this summer, and he is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with another club in January.
