Leeds United chairman Paraag Marathe addressed the fans at the end of the season. Just like last year, he ensured the fanbase that the ownership would invest in the club.
The 49ers have pumped a lot of money into the team since they were in the Championship. And it has paid off in a big way as they gained promotion.
Spending £100 million last summer was a big part of why the team avoided relegation in the first place.
Leeds brought in Gabriel Gudmundsson, Anton Stach and Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Most of last summer’s signings made immediate impact in the team as they finished in 14th place.
Heading into next season, it is clear to everyone around the club that more investment needs to go in the first team.
Paraag Marathe made it clear that the team will approach the transfer market logically as the hope to improve the team ahead of next season.
Major update emerges over Leeds United star’s move
This will most likely mean that Leeds United will make sales in the summer in order to balance the books. There are many candidates in the team that could depart Elland Road this summer.
Players like Max Wober, Isaac Schmidt and Joe Gelhardt could be set to leave in the coming months.
Largie Ramazani has recently been linked with a move away from Elland Road. He spent last season on loan with Valencia, and the Spanish side are said to be interest in a deal.
Over a week ago, Norwich City were strongly linked with the Belgian winger. However, as of Thursday, Chris Reeve of BBC Norfolk says there is no link between the Championship club and the Leeds man.
This all but rules out a move from Norwich, but Valencia are still in the hunt.

Leeds should consider keeping Largie Ramazani
The winger arrived in England with a reputation of being a very talented player.
He was one of the most expensive signings in the window he arrived, and there was a lot of expectations on him. Unfortunately injuries kept him out of the team early in the season.
When he got a run in the team late last year, he impressed.
Ramazani was loaned out this past season, and he initially struggled, but ended the season on a high.
Given Leeds’ lack of wide players, the winger could be a positive asset in the squad going into next season.
