Transfer talks involving Leeds United have emerged ahead of the end of the season. Especially following the win over Wolves, where some serious links came out.

According to reports, the Whites were interested in some of Wolves’ first team stars, and even had initial discussions with Ladislav Krejci. It is believed that Krejci would be open to agreeing personal terms if a big was made in the summer.

On Tuesday, reports suggested that Leeds United are keen on midfielder Joao Gomes. The Brazilian midfielder has been the standout in his club this season despite the team being very poor. It is believed that the Whites have serious interest and will be willing to pay a record £35 million fee for the 25-year old.

Leeds United set to move for star striker

Attack has been an area where Leeds have struggled a bit with this season. Despite stretches where the team has scored a lot, there is a lack of quality options outside the starters. Whenever Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are not in the team, there is a lot of struggle. This has lead to reports that the 49ers have lined up options ahead of the transfer window this summer.

Feyenoord striker Ayase Ueda has been linked with a move to Elland Road over the past few weeks. The Japanese international has scored over 20 goals in all competitions, and his form is attracting serious attention from across Europe. Football Insider are reporting that Feyenoord are open to accepting offers from the 27-year old in the coming months.

But the Dutch club are reluctant to lose Ueda, and will only part ways if the transfer fee is significant. Everton and Tottenham are said to be the other Premier League teams keen on bringing the Japanese star to England.

Daniel Farke needs more quality up front heading into next season

Leeds have lacked goals in crucial moments this season, and it is down to player quality. The football Daniel Farke has gotten this team to play often creates enough chances in front of goal. But the quality to execute is sorely lacking. Bringing in someone like Ayase Ueda brings a huge upgrade to the first team. Leeds were only decent in attack this year, because of the recruitment – their three top scorers were all signed in the last summer window. If the club secure another season in the Premier League, the attack is the first area they need to address.
