Leeds United will be looking to further pull away from the relegation battle ahead of midweek. The Whites face Bournemouth away from home on Wednesday.
Daniel Farke’s side will be buoyed after getting six points from their last two games. Their wins over Manchester United and Wolves have arguably been some of the best football they have played this year. Leeds also broke their goal drought, and now have five goals over their last two league games.
Things are looking up for the club, as they have pulled eight points away from the bottom three. There are five games left, but many are tipping the Whites to reach safety especially after hitting 39 points so far.
Daniel Farke delivers Leeds United injury update
Leeds United got a huge boost over the weekend, as Joe Rodon made a late cameo against Wolves. The defender was expected to be out for the rest of the month, but now will be available going forward. Ahead of the Bournemouth clash, Farke has confirmed the injury news involving some first team players. He added that Dan James is back in training, and that the players who featured on Saturday will all be available.
“Everyone available for the last game is available for tomorrow. Dan James is back in team training.
“Joe Rodon was just involved in the build up to the last game.
“Anton Stach is not back in team training, so he will not travel to Bournemouth with us.”
This update means that the German midfielder could miss the last few games left in this month, as initially confirmed after the FA Cup quarterfinal.

Whites must capitalize on momentum
Two wins from the last two games has been a huge boost, and now the Whites must capitalize on this. The club has a huge chance to cross the 40 point mark which could all but seal their place in the top flight for next season. Daniel Farke has to rally his men ahead of a very important week. The Bournemouth game will be very difficult, but the Whites have not lost their last four games on the road. Wednesday night’s game will not be the only one to focus on as the club have a key fixture against Chelsea in the FA Cup semi final on the weekend. This week could be pivotal for what happens in the rest of the season.
