Leeds United have confirmed three signings this summer. And more new faces are expected before pre-season kicks off later this month.
Two of the three arrivals have been from Germany, and the Bundesliga to be specific. Daniel Farke already has a history of brining players from the region, but this summer it is a bit different. Club sources have revealed that Leeds have the upper hand on Bundesliga players due to their Red Bull connection.
Jaka Bijol was signed from Udinese in Italy. Leeds are currently trying to sign another player from the Serie A, but the deal has stalled over the past few days.

Lecce’s Nikola Krstovic is not keen on a move away from Italy, which is disrupting any chances of a deal. The two clubs had already agreed on a potential fee. But according to Graeme Bailey, Krstovic is not a priority for the club this summer.
The latest report reveals that Leeds could look to Italy once again for their latest target. Tutto Juve credits the Whites with interest in Juventus star Timothy Weah. The American was involved in talks with Nottingham Forest recently, but it looks like a deal will not be completed. Juventus want to clear some players from their team this summer, and are open to sell for around £13million.
Everton and AS Monaco have also been heavily linked.
Weah offers a lot of solutions to the team’s problems
The American has made a name for himself as a versatile player. He has played out wide, in midfield and even as a fullback in his Juventus career.

His abilities fit multiple roles; with his best coming from wide areas. Weah is great on the ball, and can move it up the pitch, however, his crossing needs work. He could be a decent squad player with Leeds United.
