After a slow start to the summer, there are many new developments behind the scenes for Leeds United. The club know how important this summer window will be to their future.
This week has seen Largie Ramazani linked with an exit this summer.
Spanish club Valencia are really keen on bringing the Belgian back after his spell on loan last season. Injuries stalled his start, but he finished the second half of the season very well.
Per the report, the Spanish club want to sign him, but are willing to wait patiently.
They currently do not have enough to match Leeds’ financial demands at this point of the season.
Sales will be very key to the Whites’ transfer window as the new Squad Cost Ratio (SCR) rules will be in place this coming season. Club chairman Paraag Marathe even told fans to expect a logical approach to the market.
Leeds United close in on first summer signing
Leeds United will not have as much spending power as they did last year, so the recruitment team must act smart.
The last summer window saw them bring in high quality players from across Europe on very moderate transfer fees, with some even joining on free transfers. Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha were successful hits this past season.
The club may be getting another huge free agent signing per the latest results.
It is believed a deal for Harry Wilson is looking very close to completion, as the bookmakers have suspended the markets on a transfer move to Leeds United.
The bookmakers are a good indicator of movement across the football world, which should give fans some optimism.
Wilson is yet to sign a new deal at Fulham, and is very likely to leave as a free agent in the coming weeks. Many clubs across the Premier League, including Leeds, have shown interest.

Harry Wilson would be a great addition to the team
TEAMtalk reported last week that among Leeds’ targets for this summer window was a midfielder who can play out wide.
Harry Wilson ticks this box, and could be a useful player under Daniel Farke if the Whites manage to complete a deal to sign him. The Fulham man had 11 goals and eight assists last season.
He would be a great addition to this Leeds side, which lacks midfielders with great output.
Wilson could also play many roles in Farke’s 3-5-2 system next season.
I just hope he is worth it – oh a free transfer that is my kind of price.
