Leeds United have made a positive start to the summer transfer window, but the club are far from finished as Daniel Farke continues to shape his squad for the new Premier League campaign.
The Whites opened their business by signing Harry Wilson on a free transfer before making a significant investment to bring Tarik Muharemovic to Elland Road from Sassuolo in a £34m deal.
Another marquee signing now looks close, with Leeds on the brink of completing a club-record £45m move for Manchester City goalkeeper James Trafford.
Leeds have already sanctioned the departures of Pascal Struijk, Jack Harrison and Isaac Schmidt, and they now appear ready to part ways with another first-team player.

The Whites are open to selling the player after just one season
Leeds chairman Paraag Marather confirmed at the end of last season that the club would need to sell better this summer to balance their books.
They agreed to sell Struijk before the end of June due to financial reasons. However, they did well to get fees for Harrison and Schmidt this summer.
Leeds also terminated Max Wober’s contract to allow him to leave as a free agent, and are keen to move on a few more before the end of the window.
According to the German daily Hamburger Abendblatt, Sebastiaan Bornauw has emerged as a prime candidate likely to be sold before the summer window closes.
Bornauw joined Leeds last summer, but was not a regular in the team and was largely used as a squad player.
The defender wants to play more football next season, and German side HSV have confirmed their interest in the centre-back.
Leeds blocked his exit in the winter transfer window when there was interest from the Bundesliga, as Daniel Farke did not want to weaken his squad.
However, Leeds are open to selling him in the ongoing window following the arrival of centre-back Tarik Muharemovic.
Bornauw is likely to be fourth choice in the pecking order of centre-backs at Leeds next season if he stays at Elland Road.
They need more player sales
Leeds United are expected to oversee several more departures before the transfer window closes as they look to raise additional funds for further signings.
Largie Ramazani remains one of the players most likely to leave, although Valencia are waiting to see if Leeds lower their asking price before making their move.
Wilfried Gnonto and Joel Piroe could also be sold if suitable offers arrive, with the Whites confident both players would command significant transfer fees.
Brenden Aaronson’s future is also far from certain. The American has entered the final year of his contract at Elland Road, leaving Leeds with a major decision to make before the window shuts.
