Just days ahead of Leeds United facing Manchester United, the Whites seem to be big favourites. Former players and pundits alike are tipping Daniel Farke’s side for Sunday.
It is very fair to put the Whites as the favourites given their form.
Leeds have lost just one league game this season, and have had a very difficult schedule. They have managed to get results against Brighton and Brentford in the last few games.
Their defeat against Arsenal could have easily ended differently if they took their chances.
Farke’s side played well for most of the game, but could not keep up the pressure after scoring the first goal.

Manchester United have been having a terrible couple of weeks; their first game after the international break saw them fail to beat a 10-man Spurs side.
Former Leeds man Matthew Kilgallon thinks that if Michael Carrick’s side play like they did last weekend, the Whites could steamroll them at Elland Road on Sunday.
“If they start like they did against Tottenham at Elland Road on Sunday, Leeds United will be 3-0 up. Leeds have got players that will punish them easily. [Dominic] Calvert-Lewin up there, [Noah] Okafor, they won’t miss the chances that Tottenham did.” he told GOAL.
“You know how big this game is, especially for Leeds fans. Michael Carrick will know that. He’ll have played at Elland Road for Man United and knows how hostile it is. He needs to get them sorted very quickly to perform against Leeds United because Leeds will be well up for this.
“This is a game for Leeds United fans and the team. When it comes out on fixtures day, it’s the first team they look for. They’ve been waiting for this game since the start of the season. They’re going to have a big job on their hands, Man United, at Elland Road on Sunday.”
A battering at Elland Road is not far fetched
Predicting Leeds to win this game 3-0 is not far from reality.
Just last season, they had a very dominant performance in the first half at Old Trafford. They scored two goals and could have had more before the half time break, but fluffed their lines.
This season, the Whites completely dominated Newcastle and beat them 4-1 at home.
Nothing stops Farke’s side when they are on a roll, especially when they are able to get the first goal at Elland Road. Given how poor Michael Carrick’s side have been playing, they should be concerned for Sunday’s game.
