Leeds United are relishing the prospect of facing a Manchester United side struggling for form and potentially exploding from within.

Daniel Farke’s side will host the Red Devils at Elland Road, and Leeds are going into the game as favourites, given the form of the two sides and the noise around the two clubs.

While Leeds have made a solid start to the season, Manchester United have made their worst league start in more than 40 years, and Lisandro Martinez’s comments after the defeat at Atletico Madrid have deepened the crisis.

Michael Carrick’s job could also be on the line against Leeds, and Elland Road could become the graveyard for a Manchester United manager for the second season running.

Jason Cundy makes a brutal prediction for Leeds vs Man United

On talkSPORT Sports Bar on Tuesday night, Jason Cundy has provided a grim prediction for Manchester United and Carrick ahead of the Leeds clash.

He believes that while Leeds away was always going to be a tough game, the Red Devils had no business dropping points against Spurs at the weekend.

The former Chelsea star that the noise and heat around Carrick’s future will only get worse and Leeds will beat Manchester United at Elland Road on Sunday.

Cundy said: “There is a pattern emerging, and they can’t find a win.

“That late goal your mob [Tottenham] scored at the weekend was an absolute wound.

“Going away to Atletico Madrid and Leeds are always tough games, but what you cannot do is drop points while leading against ten men and the bottom side of the league.

“That noise and heat are going to continue.

“I think they will get beat at the weekend.”

Cundy is right about Leeds vs Man United

Look, if you look at how this season has started, Leeds have real momentum and are playing with genuine belief under Farke, while Manchester United are completely bogged down in internal turmoil and mounting pressure at Old Trafford.

Elland Road will be an absolute cauldron this Sunday. Leeds are sharp, organised, and picking up solid results, whereas Manchester United look fragile, short on confidence, and vulnerable every time teams put them under pressure.

If the Whites get on the front foot early, the crowd will turn the screw, and Manchester United’s shaky defence won’t know what hit it. The chance is there for the taking.
