Daniel Farke gave the green light for multiple Leeds United players to find playing time elsewhere this season. The club needed space to bring in new signings last summer.

There were many first team options who were unhappy with how little they played in the Championship.

So in the summer, Max Wober, Isaac Schmidt, Mateo Joseph, Joe Gelhardt and Largie Ramazani were among the players who left Elland Road. Almost all of them on temporary deals.

Now that the current campaign is over, a lot of them are expected to return, with most of them not expected to extend their stay elsewhere.

Leeds United will have their hands full this summer as some key decisions are made regarding the squad.

Norwich City eye move for Leeds United star

Largie Ramazani’s exit last summer came as a bit of a shock as he played in pre-season and was even in the team for the first game. However, he missed the next squad and reports emerged of his loan to Spain.

Daniel Farke confirmed it, and days later he joined Valencia on loan till the end of the season.

His start to life in Spain was explosive as he got an assist in his first appearance. However, injuries made it difficult as he struggled midway through the season.

Ramazani ended the year on a high as he ended the second half of the season with six goals and one assist.

According to the Pink Un, Norwich City are considering a move for the Belgian winger. The report adds that the Championship side are ‘expected to commit a significant sum’.

As things stand, there are no indications that Leeds will be keen on selling him, but the summer may hold a different story.

What are the club’s plans for Largie Ramazani?

There are options that could happen for Ramazani this summer, but everybody seems to think he could leave.

Valencia were said to be interested in a permanent move, but their finances may not allow it. And now Norwich are said to be eager to do a deal, and will offer a significant fee.

The winger arrived at Elland Road for around £10 million, so any potential deal will be around that fee.

There is also the option of keeping him heading into next season. What he showed on loan backs the reason the club signed him in the first place – he is a very talented player.

With the team lacking real wide options outside Noah Okafor, the Belgian could be an in-house solution this summer.
