For some players, leaving Leeds United is a new start to life. A lot of players have rediscovered their careers or got back on track after leaving Elland Road.
The club has had a long list of players they had needed off their books for years.
And the 49ers did a really good job of offloading most of them in this transfer window. Leeds managed to move Max Wober, Largie Ramazani, Joe Gelhardt and Jack Harrison.
This summer also gave some first team players the chance to get more minutes.
Daniel Farke revealed that the only reason Wilfried Gnonto, Sebastiaan Bornauw and Joel Piroe chose to leave was because they would not get playing time this season.

Three Leeds United youngsters will also get a chance at first team football after completing moves away from Elland Road.
Harry Gray joined Sheffield Wednesday, Charlie Crew went out on loan to Walsall and Sam Chambers recently joined Northampton Town on a temporary deal. All of these players featured for the Leeds U21 side last year.
Gray and Crew had spells out on loan last season with Rotherham and Doncaster Rovers respectively.
Sam Chambers made his first appearance for his new team in their win over Newport this week. After the game he spoke about his time at the club so far this season.
“It was good to make my debut and play in front of the fans at the stadium for the first time. I found it tough, I’ve not had many experiences of men’s football before so it was a big step up from playing with the Under-21s.”
Chambers also told the Northampton Chronicle & Echo that he was glad to move out on loan, as he wanted first team football.
“It was difficult and I felt like I needed to adapt but that’s what I wanted and I really enjoyed the experience. I don’t want to be stuck playing Under-21s football and not pushing myself, I needed to get out and play this season and experience what these leagues are like.”
“I think I will be a better player for it and I really enjoyed the challenge at the weekend and it just makes me want to get better every day.”

Sam Chambers is right about getting a loan move
Chambers has been playing youth football for the last three seasons, so him getting a loan move at this age is ideal.
He is right; you cannot learn and develop until you do manage to play senior football at any level. And now that he has got a taste of what it feels like, he will become a better player for it.
It seems like not many Leeds youngsters have made the transition to the first team in recent seasons.
Farke has relied on transfers and first team options most of the time. This current crop of Leeds U21 players are very talented, with some ready to make their mark.
But until something happens, they will not get their chance. So finding a loan deal is very important for them.
