Leeds United have a very important week, as they can go more points clear of relegation and also book a place in the FA Cup final this weekend.

On Wednesday, the Whites will face Bournemouth in the Premier League. Andoni Iraola’s side are on a 13-game unbeaten streak and will be looking for a win at the Vitality stadium. Daniel Farke’s side are currently on 39 points, and are eight points clear of the relegation zone. They know that at least a point could see them hit the 40-point mark and almost guarantee safety this campaign.

Chelsea fans slam Liam Rosenior after Tuesday night’s defeat

After Bournemouth, Leeds face Chelsea this weekend in the FA Cup. Farke’s men have done an excellent job in their cup run, knocking off teams like Birmingham City and West Ham. Now, they have a glorious chance to reach the final of the domestic cup competition for the first time in decades.

Their opponents Chelsea have not been having a good run in the last couple of weeks. The Blues have lost seven of their last eight games in all competitions. On Tuesday night, Liam Rosenior’s side suffered a brutal 3-0 defeat at the hands of Brighton at the AmEX Stadium. Chelsea fans were furious and took to social media to voice their displeasure with the team and manager.

”Leeds will out run us, are in great form and we have simply thrown the towel in. Plus so many key players out injured. No flare, energy or creativity. #CFC” one fan posted on Twitter/X.

Another added: ”Need biggest performance of the season on Sunday to beat Leeds. #cfc”

”Can only hope we see this tomorrow (Rosenior being sacked) if they want to avoid embarrassment on Sunday against Leeds.”

This Chelsea fan wanted Liam Rosenior to be sacked before the FA Cup clash: ”Rosenior has to go or Leeds will take us apart, get John Terry in until the summer !!”

Leeds have advantage heading into FA Cup clash

It looks like everything is going Leeds’ way ahead of the FA Cup game this weekend. They have the form and are high on confidence following two victories. The club can shift their focus from the relegation battle briefly this week as they now have a cushion. Joe Rodon returned from injury, and Dan James could also be in contention to play this week.

Chelsea on the other hand are in poor form, and the manager is under serious pressure. Their season seems to be going downhill, and nothing seems to be going right. Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro were left out of the team to face Brighton, with Palmer now a huge doubt for the semi-final. Leeds have a huge chance to do the impossible at Wembley this weekend.
