Leeds United left the Amex Stadium with a point under their belt and their undefeated streak intact following a 1-1 draw against Brighton.
Jayden Bogle scored from close range to give the away side the lead, and Leeds had more chances to double their lead before the break. But those were squandered.
Brighton fought back in the second half, and while Lukas Vuskovic’s equaliser from a corner was coming on the balance of the game, there are question marks about whether the referee should have disallowed the goal for a foul on James Trafford.
Both teams seemed content with a point at the end, but they had chances to clinch a winner at both ends towards the end of the game, especially a huge miss from Pascal Gros from yards away.

Brighton goalscorer has his say on the game
Luka Vuskovic’s goal helped Brighton to get a point at home against a resilient Leeds side, but the defender conceded that the team are not too happy.
Leeds could have run away with the game had they been more clinical earlier in the game, and the Brighton defender admitted that the home side woke up too late.
He believes the young team will get better and they need to show their true qualities from early in the game rather than allow opponents to dominate.
Vuskovic told the BBC’s Match of the Day: “I am happy to help the team a little bit, but we are not happy because we woke up too late.
“We started slow; we lost a lot of balls. We need to start from the first second. It’s not a worry – it’s the beginning of the season. We are a young team and need to find solutions. It will be a lot better.
“We need to wake up from the first second. Play from minute one through to the end. We never give up, and that’s one of our strengths, but we need to rely on our strengths from the first second.”
Leeds have made a solid start this season
Daniel Farke would be disappointed that his side didn’t take their chances that could have won them the game at the Amex Stadium.
However, his team are unbeaten in their first three league games and are looking like the resilient and determined side they were in the latter half of last season.
Leeds have lost just six games in their last 34 games in all competitions. Only four teams in Europe’s top-five leagues have lost fewer games since December.
