Leeds United have made an excellent start to the season with a 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday, but there is still plenty for the club to sort out in the transfer market before the window closes.

The Whites are still looking for cover at goalkeeper, striker and left-back, while Daniel Farke would also like to add a versatile forward to give him more options in attack.

Leeds are working on a loan deal for Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk, although it could take some time before an agreement is reached. The Ukrainian wants to stay in the Premier League despite the Blues’ attempt to send him to Strasbourg.

The Whites are also closing in on their fifth signing of the summer, with the club working to get the deal over the line in the coming days.

Transfer fee revealed for Leeds United’s next signing

It emerged last week that Leeds United were in talks with Eintracht Frankfurt over a potential move for 31-year-old goalkeeper Michael Zetterer.

The Whites are looking for a reliable number two to provide cover for James Trafford, with the experienced German emerging as one of their main targets.

However, Zetterer’s agent has since denied the reports and insisted that the goalkeeper intends to remain at Eintracht Frankfurt beyond the end of the summer transfer window.

Despite his agent’s denials, the negotiations are progressing between the two clubs, and Zetterer arrived in England on Saturday ahead of a medical.

The talks are at an advanced stage, and according to Frankfurter Rundschau, Eintracht are expecting to receive somewhere around £4.3m for the move.

Leeds and Eintracht are working on the final details of the proposed agreement, but Zetterer is almost certain to join the Yorkshire giants in the coming days.

Lucas Perri needs a new club soon

Lucas Perri needs to find a new club this summer, with no future at Leeds United after Daniel Farke made James Trafford his clear first-choice goalkeeper.

Torino do not appear to be in any rush to complete a deal for the Brazilian, while it remains unclear whether Marseille will come back with another offer.

Juventus have reportedly shown an interest in Perri, with his agent expected to hold talks with the Serie A giants over a potential move soon.

Torino’s lack of urgency could ultimately work in Perri’s favour. The Brazilian may now have the chance to secure a move to a bigger club such as Juventus before the transfer window closes.
