Leeds United loaned out several players in the summer as part of their squad restructure. However, one of them is now set to get a new manager days after his arrival.
The Whites needed to move on several players in the summer to ensure they have a balanced squad and the wage bill under control. A few of them left towards the end of the transfer window.
Joel Piroe was loaned out to West Ham, who will have to buy him if they get promoted this season, and Lucas Perri joined Torino on loan towards the end of the window.
Wilfried Gnonto’s loan move to Fiorentina was only sanctioned on deadline day after Leeds signed Jean-Mateo Bahoya from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Fresh challenge for Wilfried Gnonto after manager gets sacked days after he joined Fiorentina
Wilfried Gnonto made his debut in Fiorentina’s 2-1 defeat against Torino, where his former Leeds teammate Lucas Perri made a horrendous mistake between the sticks.
Fiorentina have lost their opening three league games, including two at home, and the club have wielded the axe to try and change their fortunes.
The Serie A club announced on Sunday night that Fabio Grosso has been sacked from his head coach role after a poor start to the campaign.
A World Cup winner with Italy, Grosso was appointed as Fiorentina head coach in the summer, when he signed a two-year contract with the club.
However, his reign lasted just three league games and one cup game as the Serie A club swung the axe to bring in a change in the dugout.
Grosso pushed to sign Gnonto on loan, and now the Italian winger will have to convince a new manager to get his career going at Fiorentina.

Gnonto’s job at Fiorentina has just gotten harder
Grosso played a part in Fiorentina signing Gnonto on loan from Leeds, with the Serie A club holding an option to buy him for £18m next year.
The Italian winger now faces a fresh challenge of convincing a manager who didn’t sign him and proving his worth to Fiorentina this season.
There is no guarantee that Fiorentina will pay the fee required to sign Gnonto on a permanent deal next summer, given Serie A is not flush with cash.
Fiorentina may even want to renegotiate the fee even if Gnonto impresses in Italy this season.
